Meet Shane Smith, President of Legacy Pools! With over 25 years of experience in the outdoor living industry, Shane’s passion has always been creating beautiful, functional spaces that families can enjoy for years to come. Leading the Legacy Pools team, Shane takes pride in transforming backyards into stunning poolscapes that bring people together.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys spending time with his wife, Becky, their children—Kayla and Brantley—and their labradoodle, River. Together, they love traveling, kayaking, hiking, and camping. In his free time, Shane is also an avid whitewater kayaker and competes in powerlifting competitions.

Fun Fact about Shane:
Shane started working on a lettuce farm at age 11 and continued each summer until he was 16, growing produce for top Atlanta-area restaurants. He’s also been featured on two episodes of HGTV’s Ground Breakers and has tackled rivers and creeks throughout Northern Georgia and Western North Carolina in his kayak.
